Bec is a clinical nutritionist, personal trainer and spin class instructor who is passionate about educating and inspiring individuals to reach and maintain their optimal health.
She is highly-skilled in using food as medicine and is passionate about all areas of nutrition. Bec is particularly interested in sports nutrition, female hormones and sports performance, gut health, and weight management.
As a former national-level swimmer and runner as well as a recreational triathlete and state-level swimming coach, Bec has been involved and interested in sports nutrition for over twenty years.
Throughout her time in the sports industry, she found that very little education or information was provided to athletes, parents or coaches on the benefits of eating whole foods to boost sports performance, recovery and physical development.
Through her experience as an athlete and coach, she has also found most advertised and recommended sports nutrition products were of questionable quality, contained chemical sweeteners and artificial additives, and contain poorly absorbed proteins, carbohydrates and minerals. In the long term, these were detrimental to an athlete’s digestive and liver health, overall wellbeing, and sports performance.
Bec uses advanced nutrition analysis to create individualised meal plans for people struggling with food intolerances, digestive issues or simply wishing to achieve their optimal health and/or weight.
Bec provides support for:
- Nutritional Medicine
